National Aeronca Association

We are dedicated to supporting the design and preserving the history of Aeronca aircraft.

Thank you for your interest in joining the National Aeronca Association.  Membership includes an embroidered association patch and membership card.

We are an all volunteer organization. Everything we do we try to provide at no charge to people interested in Aeronca aircraft. We used to have a published magazine, but it succumbed to the information age. Now we maintain a web site at www.aeroncapilots.com and a bulletin board (forum) at http://www.joea.com/phpBB2. Access to the bulletin board is free to browse and research the posts. If you want to post we require you to complete another form to set up your username and password. You can find the bulletin board form by clicking HERE

We also manage a rather active Facebook site. https://www.facebook.com/groups/105851332789460/  Again you must request access to have the site administrator admit you.

Individuals who appreciate all the NAA makes available to them contribute $30/year ($50 for two years includes a drawing CD) to aid supporting expenses the NAA has such as web site hosting fees, domian registration fees, mailing costs associated with advertising our biennial convention, plaques and trophies, and other incindentals to keep the organization functioning. No one receives any money for the work they do.

...we are the NAA

Founded by Jim Thompson and fostered by his leadership for nearly thirty years, we are now led by a Board of Directors. We meet in convention every two years at Hook Field (MWO) in Middletown, Ohio, the site of the Aeronca Corporation, where all of our post war planes were produced.
