Phil: If the needle is not leaking, the only other place it can leak is past the seat threads. To set the float level, paper washers are used under the seat. Do you have these installed? You may have a crack between the fuel inlet fitting and the seat. Take the seat out, put your finger over the end of the hole and blow air into the fuel inlet fitting , while the carb is submerged in water. Bubbles will show the problem. Is the float filling up with fuel? Shake it. Even when the carb is perfect, you will get some fuel dripping out of the carb box. It is caused from the fuel condesing in the intake runners and coming back down through the throat of the carb. It is good practice with these carbs to keep the fuel turned off when not running the engine, as most will weep some fuel. As long as it will burn more than will drip, it's of no consiquence. Fuel level in the bowl should be about 410 thousanths of an inch, or about 13/32 inch. Ron
